1.    Registration & Login related

How to register with Jodiis.com?

Click on 'Register Free' button given in the menu bar which will take you to our registration form. Fill out the from with accurate details of the bride/groom and submit. Add photos, horoscopes and other information in the next pages. Verify your mobile number. Your profile will be created automatically and you will get 'Membership ID' generated by our system.

 

How is my profile validated?

Manual verification is done for each profile carefully before it is added to our database. Once your profile is approved, you will be notified by email. We reject profile if mobile number is not verified, and profiles that contains abusive content, and profile looking for friendship/dating.

 

Can I register on behalf of someone else?

Yes. You can register on behalf of Son, Daughter, Brother, Sister, Relative and Friend. 

 

Can I do multiple registrations with same e-mail ID?

No. You need to use separate e-mail ID for each profile.

 

Can I do multiple registrations with same phone number?

No. A phone number identifies each person uniquely. So, you must use separate phone number for each profile. 

 

Why should I verify my mobile number? How can I verify?

Unless you verify your mobile number, you cannot use our service. Verified mobile numbers builds trust in your profile. The verification process is done free of cost. Not verified yet? Just login to your account, our system will take you to verification page. Later on you can hide your number from others.

 

How to hide my mobile number?

Log in to your account. Click your photo on the top right corner. In the dropdown list, click 'Profile Settings'. Under 'Contact Setting click 'Contact Protected (Visible to those I accepted or expressed interest). 

How to login to my account?

Go to home page or Click login button in the menu bar. Enter your 'Member ID' and Password into the respective field and click login button. 

 

Why is the message 'Incorrect username / password' being displayed when I try to login?

You could have entered wrong login details. E-Mail ID and Password must be the same which you had registered on the website. Password is case sensitive (Upper / Lower). Check the keyboard if the CAPS LOCK is "On". 

 

I forgot my Member ID / Password. What should I do?

Click on 'Forgot Password?' link in home page or login page. Enter your E-Mail ID which you had mentioned while registering your profile. Your login details will be emailed to your immediately. 

 

How can I change my Password?

Log in to your account. On the top right corner, click your photo. From the dropdown list click on 'Change Password' tab. Enter the current password, then new password and confirm the new password. Click on 'Submit' button. 

 

How to delete my profile?

Log in to your account. On the top right corner, click on your photo. From the dropdown list click on 'Delete Account' tab. Select appropriate reason from the dropdown list. Enter your comments if you have any. Click on 'Submit' button. Please note that you cannot restore or re-activate your profile once it is deleted.

 

I have deleted my profile. Can I restore it?

No.Please note that you cannot restore or re-activate your profile once it is deleted from database. 

 

Why is my profile in Inactive status?

Log in to your account. On the top right corner, click on your photo. From the dropdown list click on 'Profile Settings' tab. Check the current status of your profile (Active or Inactive). You can change the status here.

 

Do I have to pay to register on Jodiis.com?

Registering your profile is absolutely free of cost. For availing features like accessing contact details (phone & email) of other members, unlimited chatting, sending unlimited personalized messages etc, you need to upgrade to paid membership.

 

My Religion/Caste/Language/Education/Occupation is not available in the registration form. What to do?

We took utmost effort to keep complete list. If yours is not listed there, you can mention in the field 'Other'. You can also send an email to support@jodiis.com. We will check the feasibility to include it in the registration form.

 

Why is the message 'E-Mail address is already registered' being displayed in the registration process?

Someone already registered a profile using this E-Mail ID. Not you? Then, please send an email to support@jodiis.comfrom the E-Mail ID that you are trying to use for registering your profile. 

 

How can I change my registered Phone number?

Log in to your account. On the menu bar, click on 'Edit Profile' tab. From the dropdown list click on 'Personal Details' tab. Click on edit icon. Enter your new mobile number along with country code. Click on 'Submit' button. Complete the OTP process. Done!

 

2.    Profile Creation & Editing

How many photos can be added?

You can add maximum 20 photographs to your profile. 

 

How to upload photos? What are the different methods to upload?

Log in to your account. On the menu bar, click on 'Edit Profile' tab. From the dropdown list click on 'Add Photos/ID Proof' tab. Click on 'Choose File' button. Select your photo in JPG/GIF format and click on 'Submit' button. You can also send your photos along with your membership ID to support@jodiis.com

 

How can I delete my Photos?

Log in to your account. On the menu bar, click on 'Edit Profile' tab. From the dropdown list click on 'Add Photos/ID Proof' tab. Each photo right corner has a cross mark. If click on the cross mark the particular photo will be deleted from your profile. 

 

 

How can I hide my Photos?

Once you are logged in to your account, click your photo on the top right corner. In the dropdown list, click 'Profile Settings'. Under 'Photo Setting' click 'Photo Protected (Visible to those I accepted or expressed interest)'. 

 

How can I request photo?

If you are a paid member, you can send a message asking other members to add their photo, if they haven't added yet. Before sending request, ensure that you have a photo in your profile. 

 

How to upload horoscopes?

Log in to your account. On the menu bar, click on 'Edit Profile' tab. From the dropdown list click on 'Additional Details' tab. Click on edit icon. Scroll down to 'Horoscope' field. Click on 'Choose File' button. Select horoscope in JPG/GIF format and click on 'Submit' button at the bottom of the page. You can also send your horoscope along with your membership ID to support@jodiis.com

 

How to hide my profile?

Log in to your account. On the top right corner, click on your photo. From the dropdown list click on 'Profile Settings' tab. Under 'Profile Setting' click on the dropdown list. Select how many days you would like to hide your profile. Click on 'Save' button. Now your profile is hidden from others. Still you will be able to login and view/contact other profiles. 

 

How to edit/modify my profile?

Log in to your account. On the menu bar, click on 'Edit Profile' tab. Here you can make changes to your profile. Changing critical details such as Religion, Caste, Birth details, Gender, Marital Status and Mother Tongue is allowed only once. 

 

How long will it take for the changes to reflect on my profile?

After doing Manual Verification, changes will be added to your profile. This will take approx. 24 hours.

 

Do's and Dont's while creating a profile?

Do's

Give as much as details while creating your profile. Give brief information about yourself in the 'About Me' text box. Try to fill up optional fields also while creating your profile. The more information you provide, the more chances of getting responses. Add a most recent photos to improve changes of getting more proposals. 

 

Don'ts 

Do not try to display your contact details in any filed, except in the space provided for contact details. 

Try to keep 'About Me' description short and complete. Do not give a lengthy description. 

Do not include content that is vulgar, offensive, pornographic or racist. 

Otherwise your profile could be rejected. Please also read our Terms of Use for more details. 

 

Can I change my email address?

You cannot change your email address as it is the username to access your account. 

 

3.    Search Options

How can I search profiles on Jodiis.com?

Log in to your account. On the menu bar, click on 'Search' tab. Here you can search profiles using many search options. 

 

What are the search options available?

Basic Search         - search profiles as per basic criteria such as age, height, marital status, religion, caste, etc., 

Advanced Search    - search profiles using detailed search options such as education, occupation, habits, etc.,

Under 'Advanced Search', there is option to search profiles 'with photo', 'with horoscope', 'Online now', 'Premium Members only' and option to hide profiles from showing in search results. 

Keyword Search     - search a profile based on keyword. 

Search by Profile ID - search a profile if you know the Membership ID.

 

Can I search profile by keyword?

Yes. You can search using specific keywords using 'Search by Keyword' option

 

What is the difference between 'Advanced Search' and 'Basic Search'?

Basic Search         - search profiles as per basic criteria such as age, height, marital status, religion, caste, etc., 

Advanced Search    - search profiles using detailed search options such as education, occupation, habits, etc.,

Under 'Advanced Search', there is option to search profiles 'with photo', 'with horoscope', 'Online now', 'Premium Members only' and option to hide profiles from showing in search results. 

 

I don't want some profile re-appearing in search result. What to do?

Under 'Advanced Search', there is option to hide profiles from showing in search results which is 'Already viewed' or 'Already contacted' or 'Already Shortlisted'.

 

How to view a profile by 'Profile ID'?

Search by Profile ID - enter the Membership ID of a particular profile and click on 'search' button. 

 

Why do I get a message "No matching records found" in search result?

If you receive such message, please recheck your search criteria and try again. There could be a chance that our engineers working on the search engine for updating. You may re-try after sometime. 

 

What is 'My Matches' and how it is generated?

In this page, you will find list of profiles matching to your profile/your partner preferences. 

 

4.    Contacting Members

How do I shortlist a profile?

If you like a profile but you need time to think/contact, you can click on 'Shortlist' button. Later you can go to your inbox and view the list of shortlisted profiles. 

 

How can I block profiles?

Click on 'View Profile' button. Open the full profile view. Right side you will find option for 'Block' the profile. 

 

How can I communicate with other members?

Free members can use 'Express Interest' option to send automated messages to matching profiles.

Paid members can view the verified mobile numbers to call/sms and view email address for sending e-mail.

Paid members also can initiate chat online with other members. 

 

What is 'Express Interest', 'Send Message', 'Contact'?

'Express Interest' - is an exclusive feature that enables a free member to send interest. 

'Send Message' - to send personalized messages to other members, this feature is available to paid members only. 

'Contact' - to view verified mobile numbers and e-mail address of other members, available to paid members only. 

 

What is the meaning of accepting or rejecting interest with a member?

Accepting Interest - you accept the interest send by other member and agree to communicate further.

Rejecting an Interest - you are not interested in the member's profile and not interested to communicate further. 

 

How will I know if a member has accepted/declined my interest?

You can login to your account and click on 'Inbox' tab then select 'Interest Sent' option from dropdown list to know the details of interest accepted/rejected. 

 

How do I chat with a member?

If you are a paid member you can chat with other members if they are online. Click on 'View Profile' button. You will find chat option in the right side. Click on 'Chat' button to start chatting. 

 

I want to call a member but the number is hidden. How can I contact?

You can use 'Send Message' or 'Chat' option to contact such members. Alternatively you can also view E-Mail address of the member and send personalized email. 

 

What benefits do I get as a paid member?

Paid members can connect with the matching profiles faster. They can send personalized messages; chat with online members, view verified mobile numbers and email address to contact instantly. 

 

Can I reject an interest after accepting?

No, you cannot reject an interest once you accept it. You may block a member if you don't like to communicate further.

 

Can I accept an interest after declining?

No, you cannot accept an interest once you rejected it. You can send personalized messages, send sms or call on mobile phone if you are a paid member. 

 

 

Can I cancel an interest sent by me to other member?

No, you cannot cancel an interest once you send it. You may block a member if you don't like to communicate further.

 

5.    Memberships / Payments

What is the difference between 'free membership' and 'paid membership'?

Free members can use 'Express Interest' option to send automated messages to matching profiles.

Paid members can use 'Send Message' option to send personalized messages, view the verified mobile numbers to call/sms and view email address for sending e-mail. Paid members can also initiate chat online with other members. 

 

How can I buy a membership plan?

You can pay online using credit card/debit card/net banking options. Online payment is the fastest, easiest, and secure mode of payment. Membership is activated instantly for online payments. Our payment gateway provider uses the SSL encryption technology that ensures highest level of security for online transactions. 

 

Alternatively you can make payment by DD/MO along with your Membership ID by post. You can also pay via Electronic Fund Transfer facility such as RTGS/NEFT options. Contact us for further assistance: support@jodiis.com

 

I am not able to make payment online. What can I do?

Check once your card's expiry date. Make sure you are entering the correct card/account details. You may also call your card issing bank and check if there is any issue with your card/account. 

 

Alternatively you can make payment by DD/MO along with your Membership ID by post. You can also pay via Electronic Fund Transfer facility such as RTGS/NEFT options. Contact us for further assistance: support@jodiis.com

 

How do I make payment through post/courier?

You can make payment by DD/MO along with your Membership ID by post. Contact us for further assistance: support@jodiis.com

 

How do I make payment via Bank Transfer?

You can also pay via Electronic Fund Transfer facility such as RTGS/NEFT options. Contact us for further assistance: support@jodiis.com

 

How can I know the status of my order?

Membership is activated instantly for online payments such as Credit Card/Debit Card/Net-Banking payments. 

Activation time for offline payments varies depending on Cheque clearance/Cash collection. Normally within 48 hours of cash collection to our account.

 

How can I request refund?

Sorry, currently we don't have refund options. 

 

My payment is declined but the amount is deducted. What should I do?

Firstly check with your bank, if your bank confirms that the deducted amount has not been credited back to your account then please send your bank statement showing the payment deduction to:support@jodiis.com

 

 

6.    Reporting a Profile

I am not able to call a member as the number is not in service. What can I do?

May be the member has changed his number but updated in his/her profile. You can use 'Send Message' and 'Chat' options to contact or send an email to his/her e-mail address. 

Please also report to us with complete details:support@jodiis.com.We shall disable the profile after verification. 

 

One member's profile seems to be suspicious. What should I do?

Please report such profile urgently to us:support@jodiis.com. We will disable the profile and take suitable action after investigation.

 

I have reported a profile. When can I expect an action/reply?

We will inform you by email within 3 working days about the action taken from our side. 

 

How can I report a profile/photo?

If you come across a profile of Fake, Inappropriate behavior, married/engaged, wrong photo/phone number etc.., please report such profile to us:support@jodiis.com. We will disable that profile and take suitable action immediately after investigation.

 

 

7.    MISCELLANEOUS

 

Do you provide dating/friendship services?

We provide only matrimonial services. If you are looking for dating/friendship etc.., please do not use Jodiis.com 

 

How can I add my success story?

If you got your life partner through our service, please send your success story and marriage photos to: support@jodiis.com. You success story is a real motivation to us and our members. We will include your story & photos to our list of success stories. 

 

What is Profile Highlighter?

Profile Highlighter is a premium feature which helps your profile to standout in the search results with better visibility. 

 

What is 'Premium Member' tag?

If you are a paid member then your photo will be highlighted with a 'Premium' tag.
